
Innovation Norway’s London office is looking for an
Advisor
Key performance areas:
- Participate in the strategic development of Norwegian businesses that wish to break into or are already in the British market.
- Work with start-up companies and business networks in Norway that are looking for technological and marketing partnerships with British companies and technology and R&D environments.
- Act as a knowledge partner for Norwegian companies that are looking for information on the British market.
Qualifications/personal qualities:
- 3–5 years' experience with independent and customer-focused project work
- Education at university/university college level, preferably with a financial/technical focus.
- Experience with international processes and work with businesses in the growth and expansion phases.
- Results-oriented and commercial understanding.
- Ability to develop long term relationships with customers and partners.
- Consultative working methods and analysis and project management skills.
- Good understanding of British industry and business culture.
- Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and verbally
As the work spans a number of industries and sectors the candidate will be at a significant advantage if he or she has the ability to quickly grasp new concepts which are often of a technical nature. Consequently, there will be an emphasis on candidates who are independent and hardworking, with a significant capacity to deliver.
The London office focuses especially on the following areas: Energy and Environment, Culture and Business, MedTech and IT. Experience from one or more of these areas will be especially desirable.
